Handicap ProThis policy explains how Handicap Pro ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use the Handicap Pro app. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you (providing the app) and our legitimate interests in running and securing the service.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to provide sign-in and store your account data. Google acts as our data processor. We do not sell your data. We may disclose data if required by law.
Your account data is stored in Google Firebase data centres in Europe (europe-west2, London).
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Account → Delete my account). This is immediate and permanent.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, use the in-app tools or contact us at info@handicap-pro.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
The app stores some information on your device (such as your profile and sign-in session) so it works offline and remembers you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Handicap Pro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
